Pick. Paste. TapTap.

Works where
paste doesn't.

Some sites block paste or only listen for real key presses. TapTap types your text in as real keystrokes, so it lands in code editors, forms and rich text like you typed it.

Works in Chrome and Edge. No account, no tracking.

Three steps, no setup

  1. 1

    Pick a field

Press Select, then click the box or editor where the text should go. It lights up green so you know it's the one.

  2. 2

    Paste your text

Drop it into the panel and choose a speed, from a slow, careful pace to instant.

  3. 3

    Press Start

TapTap types it key by key while the field glows. The Start button fills up as it goes.

Feels like a person typing

Human-like rhythm varies the time between keys and adds small pauses after commas, periods and new lines. Turn it up, turn it down, or switch it off.

Paste once. Watch it type.

Drop your text into the panel and press Start. TapTap types it key by key with a human-like rhythm, and autocomplete, validation and editor shortcuts all react as they would to you.

Hands off while it types

The field is locked while TapTap works, so a stray key can't sneak in. Press Esc or Stop to end it at any moment.

Frequently asked questions

Why not just paste?

Some editors and forms block paste, mangle formatting, or only react to real key presses. TapTap types each character the way a keyboard would, so the page sees normal typing.

Which fields does it work in?

Text boxes, text areas, rich text editors, and code editors like Monaco (VS Code style), CodeMirror and Ace. It also reaches fields inside frames and web components.

Why does Chrome show a debugging bar?

That bar is how Chrome lets an extension send real keystrokes. It appears only while TapTap is typing and closes when it finishes. Pressing Cancel on it stops typing.

Does my text leave my computer?

No. Your text stays in your browser. TapTap has no servers, no accounts and no tracking.

Can I stop it halfway?

Yes. Press Stop or Esc at any time. While it types, the field is locked so stray key presses cannot mix into your text.

Which browsers are supported?

Chrome and Microsoft Edge, and other Chromium browsers that allow Chrome Web Store extensions.
